India's engagement with the Arab world has grown substantially in recent years, driven by trade, energy imports, and the presence of a large Indian diaspora across Gulf and Arab League nations. Co-chairing the meeting with the UAE also underscores the depth of the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, positioning the UAE as a bridge for India's broader outreach to the Arab League as a bloc, rather than through purely bilateral channels alone.
