CCEA approves enhancement of target under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved to enhance target base of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) from 5 crore to 8 crore. Govt plans solar farming under KUSUM scheme

The Central Government has announced to invest Rs.1.4 lakh-crore to promote the solar farming scheme -  Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahaabhiyan (KUSUM) which will encourage farmers of the country to look upto solar farming method.
