Ganesh,

We will soon be writing a series of articles on how to prepare for CSAT 2011. Though the format of the exam is not clear, at this stage one should prepare broadly on areas that cannot be neglected…like current affairs, mental aptitude, verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

Keep Visiting.

Hi Akansha,

There is not even a month now for Prelims 2010. At this stage one should go for areas that give more marks like Current Affairs,Geography,Polity etc.

For current affairs read some special issue of magazines like Competition Wizard, particularly facts like awards, personalities etc. Leave out big topics related to issues.

Even in that you can try to see if any fact is given. You can also read Banking Chronicle magazine. It has a lot of facts.

Whatever you read, read well so that you will remember it atleast till exam. And dont forget to Revise what you have been reading for the past six months.

Revise…Revise….Revise.

All the Best.

The final form of the CSAT exam is not clear. But a serious Aspirant should be ready to face any type of exam. One advantage of a competitive exam is that there is no set mark or percentile that you have to score. You only have to be better than others in certain parameters. Isnt it.

Thats why we are suggesting that one should not waste time now. Instead concentrate on preparing on a general way. Any exam cannot ignore verbal, non verbal reasoning, mental ability and finally current affairs. Apart from this We can expect some questions on History and Geography. Polity will surely be there. There is nothing to worry.

One is not going to lose anything by studying extra. It may help in Essay,Mains GS or even Interview. Atleast your mind will be warm and adequately prepared to handle higher loads when you get the actual pattern and syllabus.

    Why to wait…..jump in Study.

    Happy Learning.
