The Union Service Public Commission (UPSC) has recommended 87 candidates from Civil Services Examination, 2008. The results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2008 was declared vide Press Note dated 4th May, 2009 recommending 791 candidates in order of merit for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS and Central Services Group œA and Group œB. The Commission, in accordance with the Rule 16(4) & (5) of the Civil Services Examination Rules, has also maintained a consolidated Reserve List in order of merit below the last recommended candidate under the respective category. As now sought by Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Commission has recommended 87 candidates, which includes 68 General, 16 Other Backward Classes, 02 Scheduled Castes and 01 Scheduled Tribe candidate, to fill up the remaining posts based on Civil Services Examination, 2008.  DoPT would be communicating directly with the recommended candidates. The candidature of three (03) candidate bearing Roll No. (s) 002719, 006098 and 098669 are provisional. The list of these 87 candidates is also be available on the UPSC website i.e. http//www.upsc.gov.in .

Great Info! But I’m having some trouble trying to load your blog. I have read it many times before and never gotten something like this, but now when I try to load something it just takes a little while (5-10 minutes ) and then just stops. I hope i don’t have spyware or something. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
