Former West Indiesbatsman Runako Morton, aged 33, has died in a road accident on March 5 2012.

Earlier, it was learnt that the batsman met with an accident in Trinidad & Tobago after losing control over his vehicle, which hit a pole.

• Opener Morton played 15 Tests and 59 ODIs for the West Indies, amassing 573 and 1519 runs, respectively.
• He also holds a unique record of slowest ODI duck.
